Shaan’s journey
​Solve Together Cubing was born from one student's desire to share the joy of problem-solving. Shaan Bhagia picked up his first Rubik’s Cube at the age of 8, and by 10, he was already teaching others. In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Shaan began hosting virtual cubing workshops to raise money for UNICEF, earning him recognition from KHOU Houston and UNICEF USA at the age of 12.
His passion grew into purpose as he volunteered at the Nehemiah Center, BakerRipley, and India House, where he taught dozens of students to solve the cube. In 2024, India House honored him as their Youth Volunteer of the Year.
Shaan formed Solve Together to create a platform for other students to give back in meaningful ways. Today, Solve Together Cubing offers programming led by youth, for youth—using cubing as a tool for focus, confidence, and community.
